Watch Ubisoft's E3 2016 livestream here
Publisher's show expected to have new looks at Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, For Honor, and at least one new IP
Ubisoft already detailed one of its big E3 tentpoles with last week's reveal of Watch Dogs 2. While we're likely to hear a bit more about the San Francisco-set sequel to the 2014 original, Ubisoft already has a full lineup of other games to promote, and some surprises to announce as well.
Much of the lineup from Ubisoft's 2015 conference remains unreleased, so expect to see more of games like Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, For Honor, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and perhaps new looks at last year's VR experiments, like Eagle Flight. There will also be at least one new surprise, as Ubisoft executives have said there would be at least one big new IP announced for E3.
One thing that might be noticeably absent from the show is Assassin's Creed. An updated look at December's feature film starring Michael Fassbender seems likely, but with the franchise taking a (perhaps overdue) year off, there doesn't seem to be much sense in having it play the same E3 anchor role as it has for essentially the last decade.
Whether Ubisoft is prepared to take a leap of faith on an Assassin's Creed-less conference or not, you can watch it unfold right here, starting at 1 p.m. Pacific, 4 p.m. Eastern, and 9 p.m. BST.
