War Rock Champs Announced!
K2 NETWORK SELECTS THE REGIONAL FINALISTS FOR THE WAR ROCK GAME AND GAME WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
Winners of the International Clan Tournament On Their Way to Korea to Compete Against Some of World's Best Players
IRVINE, Calif. - (November 14, 2007) - K2 Network, Inc. ( www.GamersFirst.net), an online game publisher, is pleased to announce the selection of the regional finalists in the War Rock International Clan Tournament, which was part of the Game & Game World Championship (GNGWC). One of six games that make up the GNGWC 2007 list of titles, War Rock players have been participating in the championships since July. Winners were declared on November 7th.
The regional champions, .AniMoSity. (from the United States) and Polish Hussars (from Poland), will soon be on their way to South Korea. The two five-member regional champion clans will be flown to Seoul in early December to compete against Japan and the Philippines in the GNG World Championship Final. The winning team will be honored by GNGWC as "the world's best gamers" and awarded $5,000. Second and third places winners will be awarded $3,000 and $1,000 respectively.

War Rock, a tactical online first-person shooter available via K2 Network's Free2Play model, is one of six games to make up the GNGWC 2007 list of titles. The GNGWC, in its second year, is a global effort led by the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication, (KIPA). Tournaments were held online globally, followed by regional finals which took place in historic cities around the world including Leipzig (Germany), Ho Chi Minh City (Southeast Asia), Tokyo (Japan), and Seoul (Korea).
