Vivendi Universal Games has announced a global reshuffle of its sales staff following the departure of North American president and chief operating officer, Phil O'Neil.
In an official statement, VUG said O'Neil has left the company in order to "explore opportunities outside of VU Games." It is not yet known whether O'Neil has already secured a role at another company, or who is lined up to be his replacement.
Vivendi also announced that Pascal Brochier, formerly managing director of VUG Australia, has been made executive vice president of global sales. Based at the company's LA office, he will work under CEO Bruce Hack and manage the existing sales team.
Bob Brown and Brad Beegle are VPs of regional sales for the southern and western regions of North America respectively, while Xochilt Balzola-Widmann and Adam Roberts are in charge of European sales. Brochier will take direct responsibility for sales in Asian regions.
VUG recently published financial results which revealed a 7.2 per cent drop in revenues, but the company is generally thought to be back on track now following a tough few years. Last July, O'Neil told GamesIndustry.biz: "We view Vivendi Universal Games as now being corrected, and moving forward in a very very positive way."
