Vivendi Universal supports Games Market Europe

Vivendi Universal Games UK (VU Games) will be attending the Games Market Europe trade show held in London this summer, displaying select titles from its pre-Christmas line-up.

Running from August 31st to September 1st at The Business Design Centre, Islington, Games Market Europe will play host to a number of publishers across the industry. VU Games will be showcasing its line-up with the first UK presentation video for action title 50 Cent: Bulletproof, starring the New York hip hop artist. The game is being penned by the Emmy-winning producer of hit TV series The Sopranos, Terry Winter, and is set for an end of 2005 release on PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

VU Games will also be presenting playable versions of PC title F.E.A.R, a first-person shooter from developer Monolith; the latest version of Crash Tag Team Racing on PS2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation Portable; and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for PS2, GameCube and Xbox.

"This is further endorsement of Games Market Europe, and we're delighted to welcome VU Games as the latest exhibitor," said Andy Lane, event director, Games Market Europe. "The event has received a brilliant reception from all corners of the industry. With VU Games adding to the already heavyweight line-up, Games Market Europe will be a success from the moment the doors open."

Other publishers exhibiting at Games Market Europe, which is the only interactive entertainment trade show in the UK this year, currently include Electronic Arts, Codemasters, Ubisoft, NCsoft, Rising Star Games, Mastertronic, Gem Distribution, among many others. More exhibitors will be confirmed at a later date.
