Vivendi launches Black Hawk Down for mobiles

Movie tie-in now available for more than 500 handsets

Vivendi Games Mobile has announced the European launch of movie tie-in Delta Force Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre.

The game is being released as part of Vivendi's multi-title publishing deal with Novalogic. Like the Novalogic PC titles, the game is inspired by Ridley Scott's 2001 film.

It's a squad-based shooter which gives players the chance to lead Delta Force troops, including snipers, gunners and engineers, through 10 missions. Locations vary from the deserts of the Persian Gulf to the jungles of South America, and the game features both helicopter and ground combat.

There are 20 different action sequences in the game, which features point-and-click controls and has been developed by Damoni.

Delta Force Black Hawk Down: Team Sabre will be available for more than 500 handsets, with versions set to be released in all EFIGS languages.
