Vivendi Games Mobile to Bring Visionary First-Person-Shooter Urban Attack to Mobile Phones Around the World this Holiday Season
PARIS - Oct. 8, 2007 - Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games, today announced it will launch its upcoming Urban Attack game, an original and inventive first-person-shooter (FPS), in Europe and North America this holiday season. The game uses state-of-the-art technologies to push the limitations of most FPS that have been brought to mobile previously, incorporating vector graphics to enable the game to run in 3D across all handset tiers.

The Urban Attack game is set in 2046, in the years following the third war in the Ukraine. A highly organized Russian Mafia is now in control of the Russian government. The main character, Yuri, is a 17-year-old agent in the UCCK network of technology and psy-ops experts set up by the Russian Mafia to operate covertly in the United States. The reason for the creation of the UCCK is unknown as are the details of Yuri's past. Yuri speaks with a perfect New England accent; has a phenomenal aptitude for understanding sophisticated weaponry and knows that any attempt to discover the truth will be a very dangerous pursuit.
