Vidis at gamescom

Hamburg, 17 August 2009: gamescom will take place in Cologne from the 19th to the 23rd of August. Vidis GmbH will also present current and upcoming product news at the international gaming trade fair in the Business Centre (Hall 4.2, B51) and in the public area (Hall 9.1, C20).

Gaming fans of all ages will be able to get up-to-date information here on highlights of the Vidis brand Brooklyn ^TM accessory range and on licensing. The 3-in-1 AnimalBags for the portable Nintendo consoles DS™, DS™ Lite or DSi™ are brand new additions to the portfolio and will be presented at gamescom. The bags, made of cuddly soft plush, are designed in the style of popular animals and include the following “species”: CowBag, HorseBag, PigBag and DogBag. All 3-in-1 AnimalBags offer not only enough storage room for the console, but also a spacious compartment in which software cartridges and additional accessories can be stored, and come supplied with shoulder straps and integrated belt loop. The 3-in-1 Bags will be released at the end of August at a price of 14.99 Euro (RRP).

An additional Vidis highlight is the new range of accessories with official Hello Kitty licence, which are being presented to the public for the first time at gamescom. In autumn 2009, Vidis will launch five different Hello Kitty sets, including a Master Set, a Carry Set and a Handbag Set. The highlights of the Carry Set and the Handbag Set are the bags in the unmistakable style of the Hello Kitty head. All Hello Kitty products are planned for release in autumn.

The “Maxi Gaming Set 25-in-1” on the other hand will be introduced on the trade fair under the company's own brand Brooklyn™. To mark the company's 25th anniversary, Vidis presents an accessory set for Nintendo Wii™ with a total of 25 individual parts at a price of 25 Euro (RRP). Among other things, the set contains different controller expansions such as two tennis rackets, a baseball bat, a golf club and an Air Wheel, as well as self-adhesive skins for the console and Wii™ Remote and battery covers with comfort grip.
