NEW YORK – August 2nd, 2010 – Paradox Interactive announced today that the highly anticipated grand strategy game, Victoria 2, has gone gold and the pre-order has started on leading digital distribution outlets. Created by the development team behind the likes of Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron, Victoria 2 is a grand strategy game set during the colonial era of the 19th century. Gamers will guide their nation from the era of absolute monarchies in the early 19th century, through expansion and colonization in hopes of becoming a truly great power by the dawn of the 20th century.
Victoria 2 is scheduled for release on August 13th and will be published worldwide by Paradox Interactive. The PC title will also be available for digital download on all leading digital distribution platforms.
