Vicious Cycle® hires John O'Neill as Director of Business Development, Vicious Engine
Chapel Hill, NC - November 6, 2006 - Vicious Cycle® Software, a leading developer of console and PC games, announced that John O'Neill has joined the company as Director of Business Development for the Vicious Engine®, the company's multi-platform game development system.
John has a long history in the game industry, beginning in at MicroProse Software in 1994, where he worked as a programmer on a variety of projects. He was instrumental in establishing business and vendor relationships with industry leaders such as ATI, 3Dfx, Microsoft, and Logitech. After MicroProse, John worked for some time as a game programmer at Vicious Cycle. He then moved on to successfully establish and manage the international consulting branch for InstallShield Software, Ltd. In addition to his vast industry experience, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University.
John's new responsibilities at Vicious Cycle include managing the Vicious Engine brand by building and maintaining strategic partnerships, organizing trade shows, managing relationships with publishers, clients and manufacturers, driving internal focus for the Vicious Engine, pursuing potential license sales, and directing marketing and public relations.
