Version 4.59 of the PathEngine SDK released.
PathEngine provides a sophisticated points of visibility pathfinding solution with support for seamless pathfinding through overlapping geometry layers and advanced dynamic obstacle management.
PathEngine's clients include:
- IMC Games, for 'Granado Espada'
- Enium, for 'Maypan'
- IronLore Entertainment, for 'Titan Quest'
- Flying Lab Software, for 'Pirates of the Burning Sea'
- Avalonsoft, for 'Yong Bi Online' and now also NCSoft, Nexon and NtixSoft.
Release 4.59 makes big reductions in the memory footprint for agent-shape related preprocess and adds functionality to improve support for situations with large numbers of dynamic obstacles as well as making performance improvements across the board.
