London 11 th October 2010
Two Way Media today announced that it is to launch a new game based on the hot reality TV show Undercover Boss. Undercover Boss: The Cafe is a fun and frantic time management game set in a stylish restaurant where the player has to impress the boss by keeping customers happy.
Just as in the TV show, the Boss has gone undercover and could be any one of the increasing stream of customers waiting to be seated in the cafe. You get a clue to help you guess the Boss’ identity at the beginning of each level, and from then on your task is to wow the Boss by performing a series of tasks quickly and efficiently, scoring the most points that you can. At the end of each level you will be asked to identify who you think the Boss is, and if you have served them well you will earn extra bonus points.
Undercover Boss is a worldwide format hit from Studio Lambert, the All3MEDIA-owned factual entertainment specialist. The game has been specifically created to be easily translated to match international versions of the show. ALL3MEDIA International is selling the completed programme and format of the show around the world to great success.
Commenting on the deal Selma Turajlic, Head of Interactive Media and Licensing at All3MEDIA International, said, “We are committed to creating great digital products based on powerful brands like Undercover Boss. These games are both good programme support material and entertaining standalone game products.”
The game is being presented for distribution on a broad spectrum of sites, from TV broadcast carriers of the show to specialist web games destinations.
