Under Siege
Website launched for Portuguese PSN RTS.
The first Portuguese title for PlayStation ® 3, developed by Seed Studios, launches it’s official site today - www.undersiegegame.com, where all information about the game is stored, all the latest news, multimedia contents for download and a discussion forum.
Under Siege will be released very soon. Until then everything there is to know about the first game developed in Portugal, and exclusive for PlayStation ® 3, can be found in www.undersiegegame.com.
«It’s in this website that all information and latest news about the game are focused. It’s also a gathering spot for the Under Siege community. We want this to be a place where we share opinions and tips about the game, where everybody is invited to give feedback», refers Pedro Flores, Seed Studios Marketing Manager.
The portal’s big bet is towards graphic quality, easy and intuitive navigation and careful selection of its content. It’s composed by several sections: Home, where you can find the most recent news about Under Siege; Game, describing the game's main features and mechanics; World contains an introduction to the game’s storyline and its heroes; Units, where it’s possible to view some of game’s units in 3D and get to know some of the enemies and allies abilities; Community where a forum will take place with the game’s producers; and Media, an area with multimedia content for download such as screenshots, gameplay and editor videos, wallpapers and avatars.
The site also links to several social networks like Twitter, Facebook and Flickr where the game is also present.
Under Siege is a real time strategy game, developed with console gaming in mind. It includes a single player campaign, competitive and cooperative multiplayer maps (playable in both online and split screen modes), and a powerful editor, that enables players to build new maps and then share them with the Under Siege community.
It is in www.undersiegegame.com that, starting today, users "will first become aware of the heroes of the game and the units they can control, where they will have access to new images and concept art, and above all, the presentation of the first gameplay and editor videos" adds Filipe Pina, Under Siege’s producer.
Under Siege is being developed in Portugal for over two years and will be available exclusively from PlayStation ® Network very soon. Until then, all the latest news will be available on www.undersiegegame.com.
