UK’s DJs PLEDGE FULL SUPPORT FOR MAJOR LAN EVENT

Digital Jesters to attend Multiplay UK’s latest party

Multiplay UK, host of the UK's largest LAN events, is announcing its next large-scale event in conjunction with Digital Jesters. November the 11th 2004 will see hundreds upon hundreds of gamers descending on Newbury Race Course for a four day LAN party of megalithic proportions.

Aside from the social high-jinks and general gaming goodness on offer at Multiplay UK's parties, Digital Jesters' presence ensures a host of exclusive goodies that will be enjoyed by all who attend.

The UK premiere of Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich's latest build is one such goodie, and gamers will also be able to play new Trackmania Sunrise code, featuring the never-before-seen day and night stages, and the most recent version of Kylotonne's forthcoming Bet On Soldier.

Also a Chaos League tournament will be up and running during the event to pit the greatest Chaos League players against each other to see who is the Champion of Chaos League with prizes of DJ bags stuff with games and other goodies up for grabs.

"Multiplay UK's i22 is the perfect venue to show off our forthcoming wares," says Leo Zullo, Marketing Director, Digital Jesters. "These events attract the most dedicated gamers, and who could we possibly want to meet more than those who really enjoy our games?"

About Digital Jesters

Founded in 2003, Digital Jesters is a British-based publisher of computer and video games. Set up by the duo responsible for launching and establishing the Sudden Strike and Cossacks series of games in the UK, the firm's remit is simple: to source and publish the best games available. The company's commitment to originality resulting in it snapping up the original TrackMania game from French developer Nadeo and DJ's ethos of community development strategy resulted in the game becoming one of the sleeper hits of the year. A tie-in with record-breaking yachtswoman Ellen Macarthur for the firm's second release Virtual Skipper 3 ensured the game received widespread attention among the elusive non-gamer, and firmly placed the publisher on the map. The firm has enjoyed three top 10 PC hits and is expanding its operation to cover additional territories. It has also published its own comic book to widespread critical acclaim.
