UKESA LAN Championships February 2005!

UKESA are extremely proud to officially announce that on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of February 2005, we will run our first UK Counter-Strike LAN event. It is also with great pleasure that we confirm this event will take place at the CyberGamesZone centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Although the prizes are yet to be confirmed, we assure you, you wont be disappointed!

"We are delighted and honoured to be given such an opportunity to host a premier UK Counter-Strike event. CyberGamesZone has always been trying to push UK gaming forward, and we believe by teaming up with UKESA for this tournament, we can accomplish that. With our experience in holding events such as WCG Qualifiers, Clan bootcamps, and our own in-house tournaments, we are confident we can assist UKESA in the successful organisation of this event." says Denis Pang of CyberGamesZone.

Morgan Withers, a Director at UKESA also had this to say.

"After a lot of planning and organisation, I am happy that we are finally able to run our first LAN tournament. This is the first of many stepping-stones that will see us striving to create a constant presence in Europe. Picking the venue in Newcastle shows just how committed we are to raising the bar of professionalism all over the UK and Europe. Having heard many good things about CyberGamesZone we are looking forward to hosting our first tournament there."
