UK Gaming Stars 4 Kings to host tournament at Trueplayerz

Trueplayerz are proud to announce that the UK's only pro-gaming team 4 Kings will be sending their new console players to Trueplayerz this Sunday 23rd October to host one of the tournaments on the day.

4Kings is the UK's only professional gaming team and its PC team is sponsored by Intel and ATi. The team was founded in 1997 and is one of the most recognised and successful computer gaming teams in the world. Based in the UK 4Kings has players spread as far as South Korea with the majority located in Europe and includes several World Champions.

4Kings' new console team is currently in training for the World Cyber Games UK Final Qualifier on the 29th October with the aim of reaching the World Finals in Singapore in November. The console team consisting of Tony "Dread" Sorial, Harry "Lethal" Thomas, Dean "Ruffell" Ruffell and Mark "La1" Thurston, from 4 Kings will be helping out on the day by hosting the Battlefield 2 Modern Combat tournament and this is your chance to come and meet them and give them a send off, Trueplayerz style!

Trueplayerz takes place this Sunday 23rd October at London's Marquee Club on Leicester Square from 10.30am-8pm and entry is open to everyone - you can either be a spectator or player.

The Trueplayerz events are sponsored by UK Online and supported by EA, Gamestation, Games Radar, Games Master and TMF Game One. The events offer everyone the chance to play new games, score great prizes including ton's of games, Xbox 360's, one year 8 Mb UK Online broadband accounts, Nokia 6681 phones and iPod Shuffles. The unique concept behind Trueplayerz is that the winner of each tournament decides which charity receives the proceeds from the event; it's as simple as that.

The tournament is being played out on four big screens plus there will also be loads of game pods for side tournaments and special events. Players can compete on the autumn's top new releases including Burnout Revenge, FIFA 2006, Battlefield 2 (Modern Combat), Capcom Fighting Jam and now Halo 2.
