PSP version Burnout Legends, which sat in second place the previous week, has dropped to number five, leaving it as the only PSP title in the top 20. As Sony pushes more PSP units to retail for the looming Christmas period, this may well change in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere, Codemasters continues to enjoy the afterglow of England's Ashes victory, as Brian Lara International Cricket 2005 climbs one place to number three, and EA's expansion pack The Sims 2: Nightlife drops one place, sitting patiently at number two.
Following recent promotional activity at retail, THQ's customised racer Juiced makes a fantastic spurt for the finish, leaping seventeen places from twenty five to rejoin the top 10 at number eight.
The men in Lycra grapple VUG's Incredible Hulk pulling him unceremoniously off of the GameCube top spot, as WWE: Day of Reckoning 2 enters at number one. The PC chart sees new entries in second, third and fourth positions, while Xbox charts remain fairly static as publishers prepare for the retail assault of Xbox 360 titles towards the end of the year.
All bets are off for next week, as EA releases FIFA 06 on Friday with no competition in sight. Also out on Friday will be Ubisoft's Xbox friendly Far Cry: Instincts, while the PC market benefits from Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion, Sniper Elite and gambling oriented FPS Bet On Soldier: Blood Sport.
