THQ's WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 grapples the number two position, with the PlayStation 2 version of the game proving there's plenty of life left in current-gen formats by becoming the fourth fastest-selling game of 2006.
In a busy week, Activison's Call of Duty 3 storms into third place and takes the title of the second fastest-selling Xbox 360 title ever, just ahead of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6, at four.
EA's FIFA 07 and The Sims 2: Pets are both nudged down the charts to positions five and six, respectively, while Rockstar's PSP exclusive Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories is bumped one place to number seven.
LucasArts' Lego Star Wars: The Original Trilogy climbs back into the top ten from eleven to number eight due to a release on PSP, while Sega and Creative Assembly's Medieval II: Total War debuts at number nine. Finally, the controversial Canis Canem Edit fails to translate hype into sales, dropping five places to number ten.
Other new entries in this week's charts include Nintendo's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue at number 14, with its sister title Red Rescue debuting at number 34.
VU Games' release of F.E.A.R. for the Xbox 360 has pushed the title back into the top forty at number 20, while Sony's Buzz: The Sports Quiz crashes the charts at number 31.
