UFC still top of heavily disputed UK charts
Guitar Hero: Metallica debuts ahead of inFamous as top three remain static
THQ's UFC 2009: Undisputed on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has held onto the top spot in the UK all formats chart, despite a 42 per cent drop in sales this week.
By comparison Pokemon Platinum on Nintendo DS dropped only 28 percent in its second week and still remains at number one in the individual formats chart. The strong success of UFC 2009 on both its format also kept EA Sports Active at number three, despite that title seeing a 42 per cent increase in sales in its second week.
The highest new entry of the week, at number four, was Activision's multiformat Guitar Hero: Metallica - arriving several months after originally being released in the US. As a result Sony's PlayStation 3 exclusive inFamous had to make do with number five for its debut.
With the lower reaches of the top ten still filled by FIFA 09, Wolverine and the usual Wii suspects the final new entry was Sega's Virtua Tennis 2009 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at number eight. Wii and PC versions of the game are due to be released later in June.
Outside of the top ten the other major new entries were Warner's Terminator: Salvation at number 11 and Majesco's Night at the Museum 2 at number 35.
