Ubisoft Titles Honored With Varied Awards At E3 2006
London - 2nd June 2006 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announced that its new franchise Assassin's Creed has won Best Action/adventure Game as part of the Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2006. The Game Critics Awards are decided by representatives from 37 leading media outlets covering the video games industry.

Persia-meets-Thief gameplay, Assassin's Creed provides an

In addition to the Game Critics Award, Assassin's
Creed received numerous other honors, including Best
PLAYSTATION®3 Game from 1up.com; Best Action Game for
PLAYSTATION®3, Best Graphics for PLAYSTATION®3 and
PLAYSTATION®3 Game of the Show as well as Overall Best Action
Title from IGN; Best PLAYSTATION®3 Game from Gamespot and
Best of Show from Gametrailers.com.
Ubisoft's World War II title Brothers in Arms Hell's
Highway was also recognised with best First Person
Shooter for Xbox® 360 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas was
honored as Overall Best First Person Shooter from IGN.
