Ubisoft Shifts Into High Gear With Import Tuner Challenge(TM)

Most Authentic and Customisable Street-Racing Video Game Arrives Autumn 2006 Exclusively for Xbox 360™

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM- 1ST AUGUST, 2006 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announced that it will tap into the tuner culture phenomenon and publish Import Tuner Challenge exclusively for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Import Tuner Challenge is an authentic and extremely customisable street-racing game that challenges racers to immerse themselves in Tokyo's underground to take on the fastest street-racing teams. Players can modify and race licensed import sports cars using real tuner parts and tuning techniques. More than five million combinations are possible in tailoring a car's interior, exterior and engine.

"The game offers more tuning possibilities than any other street-racing game to date on Xbox 360 and will submerge players into Tokyo's thrilling underground."

Tune your car like a mechanic: Install custom parts with the click of a button and hit the streets wheels spinning. Players can fine-tune their parts to suit a specific race.

Conquer the toughest and fastest street-racing teams: With more than 400 unique opponents with different strengths, weaknesses and custom cars, never play the same game twice.

Import Tuner Challenge is being developed by Genki of Japan and is scheduled to ship in Europe in Autumn 2006.
