Ubisoft - Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game
DLC arrives.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – November 9, 2010 – Today, Ubisoft announced the launch of new downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game™. The new content will be available on PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on November 9 and will come later this month on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 coinciding with the film’s Blu-ray and DVD release on November 9th.
The download is priced at $2 and includes the new playable ‘Knives Chau’ character, as well as two new game modes: Battle Royale and Dodge Ball. In addition, Ubisoft will also offer a free patch, which upgrades the player’s original gameplay to co-op.
Developed in collaboration with Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game™ is based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s award-winning graphic novel series and the Universal Pictures film directed by genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright.
The game follows ‘Scott Pilgrim’s’ quest to date ‘Ramona Flowers’ by defeating her seven evil exes. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is a rock ’n’ roll action love story for the 8-bit generation with an arcade-style, beat-’em-up experience inspired by many classic retro games of the ’80s and ’90s. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is rated “T” for TEEN by the ESRB.
