Ubisoft, Microsoft take MCV Awards

Nintendo, EA and ShopTo also honoured at retail event

Ubisoft and Microsoft were the big winners at last night's MCV: Industry Excellence Awards, honouring the UK's games retail sector.

Microsoft took Best Use of Social Media for the Fable III: Kingmaker app, Trade Marketing Team and New Games Brand for Dance Central.

Ubisoft was awarded the Grand Prix prize, awarded by the MCV editorial team, and sales director Darren Bowen won the Special Recognition award.
