TV3 and Nextnation join forces for Mobile@3
Kuala Lumpur, 17 May 2006 - Sistem
Televisyen Malaysia Bhd or TV3 and Nextnation Communication
Bhd have joined forces in the mobile entertainment platform
to bring forth Mobile@3 Gamezone.
The collaboration between the two was set forth with the
inception of TV3's Explorace reality show into its mobile
form - Xploracer. The mobile rendition of the show sets
competitors in a game of puzzle series with time being a
major determining factor of score, true to the nature of its
television counterpart.
Other games that were added to the compendium of tournament
games on the website were 'Balik Kampung II' and 'Pendekar
II'.
"We are pleased to be working with TV3 and hope this step is
a good sign towards acceptance of the inevitability that the
mobile gaming market is in Malaysia and here to stay," stated
Rafli Ridwan, Nextnation's Vice President of Business
Development.
Mobile@3 adopts a point based redemptive system based on
ranks and points accumulated every month. These points can in
turn be redeemed in exchange for attractive prizes offered in
the Gift Shop. While only three tournament games are
currently offered on the site as of now, more interactive and
tournament games are expected to be added over the next few
months. To visit the game site and community, log on to
http://gamezone.mobileat3.com.
Mobile@3 Platform is powered by FunLogiX 1.0, a full service
mobile game engine for mobile interactive game development,
hosting and worldwide deployment. Nextnation is the appointed
mobile technology and application service provider for the
mobile game competition, connecting to 15 million customers
from Maxis, Digi and Celcom.
