Due to a surge in demand in late November, Trukz has announced the extension of their Giant Robot Competition, which now has a new finish date of December 14th 2008.

With tens of thousands of drivers driving over 250 million in-game miles since the start of November, our competition has been extremely popular with players. With an unexpected surge in activity towards the end of the month, and the repeated requests for more time, we felt it only fair and reasonable to extend the competition for another two weeks. Having the chance to win an 8ft giant Optimus Prime made from scrap metal (and weighing a quarter of a ton) will do that sort of thing.

As someone will be getting a very big surprise in time for Christmas, the winner will be announced in-game on the 15th December 2008.
