Trueplayerz Xbox Live Season Continues with Far Cry Instincts Tournament on Sunday 26th February
As Trueplayerz prepares to launch the Spring season of charity tournament events, yet another Xbox Live friendly match gets underway this month to give gamers more reason to practice their style and competitive play. As a bonus there are loads of Ubisoft
This month's official Xbox Live tournament on Sunday 26th February (2pm-6pm GMT) takes place on Far Cry Instincts. Trueplayerz have signed up some leading talent for the day including legendary map builder Lee Ames. Lee took advantage of Far Cry Instinct's map building option early on to start building levels designed to push the Far Cry game to its limits and give players amazing experiences.
Along with Lee Ames, some of the world's top Far Cry Instincts players will be dropping in to give competitors a run for their money, and helping out by teaching them tips and tricks in Game School, the Trueplayerz supported training event that runs alongside the matches. Run by UK Fifa Interactive 2005 Champion Paul Gordon, Game School aims to teach new players some of the advanced tip and tricks to help their game play and make it a far more enjoyable experience.
There will be both a single player Chaos tournament and a two player team tournament for the more serious players. Both tournaments start at 2pm GMT on Sunday 26th February with matches each half hour until the last heat at 4.30pm GMT. Finals run from 5pm until 7pm GMT.
Ubisoft are supporting this month's tournament and have put up a great selection of prizes to win - all semi-finalists will be walking away with their choice of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory or Far Cry Instincts (whilst stocks last) plus one of the brand new Spring - Summer t-shirts from fashion label Joystick Junkies.
