True Games Interactive
Newly-formed external development division seeking new titles.
Irvine, Calif.-October 7, 2009 - Global online game publisher, True Games Interactive ( www.truegames.com) announced today that it has formed an External Development Division at its Irvine Headquarters where it is currently seeking to acquire new video game content to operate on its TrueTech online game platform. The company has put a call out to all developers and publishers who have new, original and/or licensed online video game content that can be operated within the micro-transaction model it specializes in.
"We currently have several top quality products in development, but in addition to our own content, we also want to take advantage of our extremely capable TrueTech platform's capabilities by operating additional online games," said Jeff Lujan Founder and CEO of True Games. "There are developers out there creating amazing online content, however, they don't have the means to bring it to market on
their own. That is exactly the kind of partner we are looking for."
The company is open to all types of online video game content and genres including role-playing, strategy, racing, first-person shooter, sports, action, action/adventure, simulation, fighting and more. Any product the company will consider will need to be developed for, or have the ability to easily be adapted to, the company's micro-transaction business model which provides games that are free to download and play (while offering players the ability to purchase additional items via micro-transactions).
The True Games headquarters are based in Irvine, California. The company launched its first online game, Warrior Epic, in spring of 2009 and is preparing to launch Mytheon, an action, strategy online game with a heavy emphasis on RPG-gameplay, collectability and combat. Mytheon is being developed by world-renowned developer, Petroglyph. More information about the game can be found at www.Mytheongame.com.
True Games recently opened a new studio in Austin, Texas which will be working on True Games' third micro-transaction online game which is a new IP.
