Trinigy doubles yearly revenues as Vision 8 demand rises
New hires and offices for German 3D engine company
Trinigy, the German company which provides 3D engine Vision 8, has achieved more than double the revenue in 2010 than it did in 2009.
The company attributes the increase to heightened demand for its multiplatform Vision 8 engine, launched in March, 2010 - which was recently expanded via the addition of browser support through the new WebVision framework.
"There have been a lot of changes in the industry as of late," said Trinigy general manager Felix Roeken. "Through it all, we have remained not only profitable, but steadfast in providing the very best multiplatform technology and the very best support, as well as a business model that makes sense for developers at almost every level. We are grateful for our success and look forward to continued growth as the industry evolves."
The success has enable Trinigy to expand into two new offices, in Hamburg and Korea, as well as financing the hiring of new staff.
Recently, the company announced a number of new licensing deals in Asia, with a dozen more coming prior to that in April.
