Trilogy Logistics and The Producers form distribution partnership
Full manufacturing, distribution and logistics solution to be provided to publishers
Distribution specialists Trilogy Logistics and The Producers have formed a strategic partnership that will allow them to offer increased services at better value to both existing and new customers.
Effective immediately, the deal will enable the duo to offer entertainment companies a full turnkey manufacturing, distribution and logistics service. Key to the initiative is their Nintendo product assembly service, which is able to offer savings of 20 per cent on all printed parts.
"I am really excited by this deal. Matthew Allen and his team have impressed me and the prospect of working with them and their customers opens up so many opportunities," said Andy Payne, managing director of Mastertronic, parent company of The Producers.
"Between us we have a great team of people, 160,000 sq feet of space and a reputation for reliability and putting customers' needs first. This all puts us well and truly on the map now. We have been the games industry's best kept secret for years, and now we intend to get a little more known."
"We really do think that the games industry needs a credible and capable alternative to the current choice of suppliers and we intend to offer that choice," added Trilogy Logistics MD Matthew Allen.
It was also announced the team would be joined by Rob Gross who will assume the role of commercial director. Gross has 12 years experience working in game publishing, and will take control of all of the new joint partnership's sales initiatives.
