Trilogy calls in administrators
Administrator MCR takes on troubled UK distribution business
The Northampton-based distribution company Trilogy Logistics has gone into administration, it has been confirmed.
A spokesperson from administration firm MCR confirmed the move to GamesIndustry.biz, saying that further information on the business will be released towards the end of the week.
The company's troubles were highlighted in November, when Mastertronic's logistics company The Producers announced it was pulling out of a recently formed strategic alliance with Trilogy.
Dealing with DVD, toy and games businesses, Trilogy's clients included 505 Games and Square Enix. It also worked with retail partners including supermarket giant ASDA, specialist game retailers Game and Gamestation, and online retailers Play.com, Zavvi and Chips.
