Tony Hawks to go one-thumb for mobiles
Project 8 to launch by the end of the year
Following the announcement that Infospace has secured the mobile rights to the Tony Hawks series, more details have been revealed of first title to be released under the terms of the deal.
Tony Hawks Project 8 will be playable with just one thumb - players will be tasked with hitting the buttons in the right direction at the right time.
The more accurate they are, the faster Tony will go, but one too many mistakes will send him sprawling. Players will also be able to pull off some of his trademark tricks.
PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360 versions of Tony Hawks Project 8 were released last Friday, and PS3 and PSP versions are due to follow next year. The mobile phone version will be out by the end of December.
