Tomb Raider and Pandemonium - Two new BREW® titles announced

London, England 5th April 2006 - Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, part of SCi Entertainment Group Plc (SEG) today announced two new titles developed for QUALCOMM's BREW solution.

Pandemonium and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend will be available for the first time on mobile handsets, fully realised in two unique and highly innovative mobile environments.

Pandemonium is a frantic and highly original action adventure game, set in a huge beautifully detailed world, starring the acrobatic team of Nikki, Fargus and a demented puppet-on-a-stick named Sid. Boasting heaps of variety, you can even shape-change from an invulnerable turtle to a fire-blasting dragon.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend is the 3D mobile game based on the console and PC game, featuring a fluid movement system and a series of brand new gadgets for Lara to get to grips with. Experience the adrenalin rush of Lara jumping from rope to rope miles above the ground or taking out a ruthless enemy.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend is the seventh title to be released in the Tomb Raider series, which originally launched in 1996 and is still one of the best selling videogame franchises of all time, with over 28 million copies sold.

Matt Gorman, Senior Brand Manager, Tomb Raider said, "It is quite remarkable to see how far we have come with mobile gaming. When I look at the game running on a console and then on a mobile handset, it's quite apparent that the gap is getting smaller."

Simon Protheroe, New Media & IT Director, Eidos said, "It is a testament to the power of QUALCOMM's BREW solution when you can see, first hand, the reaction of consumers when you put either of these games in their hands - they are starting to realise what mobile gaming is fast becoming capable of."

"Eidos continues to drive standards for mobile gaming to even higher levels with these new titles for BREW," said Mike Yuen, senior director-Gaming Group, QUALCOMM Internet Services. "Pandemonium and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend are innovative and entertaining titles that take full advantage of the latest wireless technologies and 3G networks."
