Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 3 Powered by Multithreaded Physics Software from AGEIA

Full motion video demo of Ubisoft’s new physics-rich game to debut at E3

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - May 17, 2005 - At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), AGEIATM Technologies, Inc., the pioneer in hardware-accelerated physics for games, today announced that Ubisoft, one of the world's largest videogame publishers, is incorporating AGEIA's advanced physics technology into its widely anticipated Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® 3. Ubisoft is leveraging the unique multithreaded capabilities of AGEIA's NovodeX physics software to harness the power of next-generation consoles for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3, revolutionizing the classic squad-based shooter for tomorrow's virtual battlefields. A full motion video demonstration of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3 will be available by appointment only in the AGEIA booth (Kentia Hall #7532).

"AGEIA's NovodeX physics software enables us to take full advantage of the incredible capabilities of next-generation game consoles," said Yann Le Tensorer, producer at Ubisoft

on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3 for the next-generation Xbox. "New users and hardcore gamers alike will be amazed at the performance and physics-based realism of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3."

As the industry's only multithreaded physics solution, AGEIA's NovodeX physics software is uniquely equipped to exploit the advanced capabilities of next-generation consoles, allowing game developers to deliver incredibly lifelike worlds and characters in their game titles. AGEIA's NovodeX is also the only physics software that can harness the power of AGEIA's PhysX processor, the world's first dedicated physics processing unit for games.

"Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3 is a powerful example of what's in store for game enthusiasts as this next wave of technology sweeps through the industry," said Andy Keane, vice president of marketing for AGEIA. "We're proud to be able to contribute to the efforts of Ubisoft developers as they create the next generation of immersive action games."

AGEIA will be demonstrating games using AGEIA PhysX technology at E3. (By appointment only, Kentia hall, booth #7532.)
