GamesIndustry.biz launches into a new medium today, with the arrival of our first podcast - download it now to hear our audio report from last week's 2006 Game Developers Conference in San Jose.
The fifteen minute long podcast, which can be listened to on your PC or on any portable music player, features our reports and excerpts from the keynote speeches by Sony's Phil Harrison and Nintendo's Satoru Iwata, as well as the Game Developers Choice and Independent Games Festival awards.
You can get the podcast either using our RSS feed - which will automatically update you when we post new episodes - or by directly downloading the MP3 file. iTunes users can subscribe from within iTunes by going to the "Subscribe to Podcast..." option under the "Advanced" menu, and pasting in our RSS address: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/podcast/gipodcast.xml
We intend to make podcasts into a regular feature of the site in future, with our next planned episode being a podcast from the E3 trade show in Los Angeles in early May. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know at contact@gamesindustry.biz.
Podcast written and presented by Rob Fahey; music and editing by Simon Parkin.
