THQ Wireless EMEA hires

7th January 2004 - As part of further European expansion THQ Wireless is pleased to announce two successfully filled positions, both responsible to James Scalpello, Marketing Manager EMEA.

Based in the UK office, Chris Derrick has joined in a new position, as Product Marketing Manager. His role will be to handle THQ Wireless' growing product portfolio across the EMEA region and aims to strengthen marketing communications in key territories. Chris joins from Hasbro Licensing where amongst other titles he had been working on the successful Monopoly mobile license.

Louise Gabriel has joined the company to lead the publicity drive for THQ Wireless as PR Manager EMEA. Louise joins after a career in entertainment PR, working with videogames publishers Ubisoft, Atari and THQ, as well as entertainment clients including Universal Pictures and Sony Music.
