THQ Wireless Appoints Gary Kanazawa to Vice President of Product Development

New Hire Underscores Company's Continued Commitment to Developing the Highest Quality in Mobile Entertainment

AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sept 26, 2005: THQ Wireless Inc., a subsidiary of THQ Inc. (Nasdaq: THQI), today announced the appointment of Gary Kanazawa to vice president of wireless product development. In his new role, Kanazawa will oversee the global development of THQ's prestigious portfolio of mobile games based on some of the biggest entertainment brands and popular sports leagues, in addition to other wireless content such as ringtones, wallpapers, data applications and information services. Kanazawa will also play a key role in how the company leverages new technology platforms, networks and devices to further extend its brands and increase its overall business value.

Kanazawa is an 18-year veteran of the software industry and prior to joining THQ Wireless, served as vice president of product development at Mobile Digital Media where he produced content for mobile devices. In addition, Kanazawa served in leadership positions with top companies such as AvantGo, Palm and Microsoft.
