THQ has announced the completion of its acquisition of Paradigm Entertainment, confirming that the studio is currently working on development of a next-generation Stuntman title.

The latest in a series of developer acquisitions for the publisher, Paradigm's purchase was initially announced at the beginning of May, when THQ secured the Stuntman license from Atari.

Atari stated at the time that it had generated US$13m from the sale of rights and assets to both Stuntman and Sabre Interactive's Timeshift, but declined to comment on the capital raised from Paradigm's sale. THQ has also declined to reveal the financial terms of the deal.

The latest iteration of Stuntman is expected to be released on next-gen consoles in 2007, and THQ has stated that it plans to unveil the new title later this year.
