The October 13th edition of the free-to-read, interactive online gaming magazine Thirteen1 is available now, packed with the latest previews, reviews, interviews and exclusive giveaways!

The scariest time of the year is almost here, with Halloween and it's ghostly ghouls waiting to scare the wits out of us all on October 31st. To keep in with the theme, Thirteen1 braved the often depraved internet and went in search of the most fittingly scary browser-based game available – and found it, in Jagged Blade Soft's new zombie-blasting MMORPG, Dead Frontier!

Not content with finding one of the web's best horror titles, T1 furthers the celebration of all things spooky with a run down of the 13 Scariest Moments in Gaming, EVER! Or even the music of death as Sonic starts to drown underwater?..

To be honest, the answer is so obvious that you'll kick yourself if you haven't already guessed it.

It's not all scares though, with plenty of other games and features to sink your teeth into. Thirteen1 sends MMO expert The Drunken Gamer stumbling into the Greek-inspired GodsWar Online, takes a careful tour around the gun-toting saloons of one of the only Western MMORPG's available, The West, and prevent a “creeper” from taking over the world in ridiculously good indie RTS Creeper World.
