It just wouldn't be Christmas without presents, that's a fact [quote, Rafa Benitez].

We're not talking about the goody-two-shoes, 'giving presents makes you happy' side of things. We're talking about receiving - the sweet, glorious feeling of getting something for nothing, saying a quick “thank you”, and running off into the corner of the room to play with it. THAT's what Christmas is all about, and you know it.

But for somebody to receive, somebody has to give..or, rather, have something pried from their tight, unwilling hands. Take Thirteen1 for example. They contacted all corners of the industry asking for giveaway goodies for their Christmas issue, hoping they could get a few cool little gifts for you to get your mitts on. Just a token something that they wouldn't mind giving away – after all, tis the season.

But in a stellar display of Christmas cheer from the gaming industry, everyone responded with a resounding yes! Suddenly the Thirteen1 guys had piles of games stacked around their machines, all ready to be won by a bunch of lucky readers. So many games...so many hours of joy...did they actually want to give them away? Hell no! But, they have to - them's the rules, apparently.

The December issue of Thirteen1 is now rammed with well over £1000 worth of prizes, including a main competition where you can bag an awesome bundle of goodies. There are two bundles up for grabs – a Grand Prize Bundle, and an equally inventively named Runner Up Bundle.

Don't worry, T1 ensure us their marketing guys won't get a slice of cake at this years office party for those efforts.

The Grand Prize bundle is a veritable feast of gaming and peripherals, including a Special Edition copy of Fallout 3 with a limited edition Brotherhood of Steel figurine, Cities XL, Aion, Lord of the Rings Online, Section 8, codes for indie hits Trine and Grappling Hook, and much, much more.

There's even a cracking Splitfish Dual SFX Frag Pro pad – guaranteeing plenty of headshots and Christmas pwnage - an Exspect Drop 'N' Charge matt, and top-end Logitech goodies thrown in there too.

The Runner Up bundle prize isn't half bad either!

To see the full list of prizes and win it all for yourself, all you have to do is check out Thirteen1's free-to-read online Christmas issue, flip to the right page and enter the form.

All makes for one very Merry Christmas. Good Luck!
