The World's Most Popular Mobile Poker Game, World Poker Tour® Texas Hold 'Em 2, Expands to T-Mobile UK

LONDON, UK-JANUARY 15, 2008-Hands-On Mobile, the world's leading developer of connected games and applications, has announced the launch of multiplayer World Poker Tour® (WPT) Texas Hold 'Em 2 with United Kingdom mobile network T-Mobile. The launch enables T-Mobile's UK customers to play the world's most popular multiplayer poker game in real time against up to five other people anywhere in the world on their mobile phones.

The sequel to the top-selling original, WPT Texas Hold 'Em 2, is already setting new groundbreaking standards. The original title blew the competition away with over six million downloads globally and over 14.5 million hands played since launch. WPT 2, however, is truly blazing new ground with double the number of unique users compared to WPT 1 in a similar timeframe and over seven million hands played in the six months since its launch in the US alone. The game was launched in the UK earlier this year and has received rave reviews and a string of accolades. Hands-On Mobile anticipates being able to announce other operators taking WPT 2 soon.

"Hands-On Mobile's WPT 2 is the biggest in mobile poker games and we are really excited that we can now offer it to our customers via Web'n'Walk," said Neil Holroyd, UK Games & Gambling Manager at T-Mobile. "The gameplay is intuitive and the graphics are slick, but it's the multiplayer element of WPT 2 that will really generate excitement among both new and experienced poker players alike."

WPT Texas Hold 'Em 2's pioneering feature list includes the ability for players to play on their own, against any other user or users, or against their friends and family in private games - all of which are 'play for fun' games where no real money is at stake. To further add to the experience and sense of community, players can choose from a selection of characters to play as and also chat using the instant messaging function. WPT 2 also offers revolutionary web-to-mobile converged gameplay meaning the six players at the table could be competing from anywhere in the world, either on their mobile phone or online at: www.WPTMobile.net

"Poker is a global phenomenon and WPT Texas Hold 'Em 2 draws on this massive interest by enabling people to play poker against other players anywhere, at any time," said Greg Robinson, President and General Manager, EMEA for Hands-On Mobile. "WPT 2 is more than just a connected game; it's an online mobile community that draws players back time and again. We are delighted that this community will continue to grow with T-Mobile."
