"The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100" recognises I-play

London, UK & San Francisco, CA - 25th September: - Britain's 100 fastest-growing private technology companies were revealed over the weekend in the sixth annual Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100. In the league table which ranks companies according to their annual growth rate in sales between 2003 and 2005 I-play achieved 42nd place.

I-play, the mobile entertainment company, has been a mobile pioneer since 1998 and has vast experience developing and publishing award winning titles and entertainment content with broad consumer appeal. With significant growth in the US market and an ability to build commercially successful mobile game franchises and original IP, I-play continues to lead the casual gaming sector.

I-play recently announced a groundbreaking license agreement with Universal Mobile Entertainment. Via the Mobile Moments channel, audiences can now view the best film clips from Universal Studios' most popular blockbuster movies. The deal not only represents a new strategic shift for I-play but it's also a first for Hollywood studios in that it's the first time a deal has been struck for 'the best of film clips' being made available on mobile on-demand.

David Gosen, CEO of I-play, commented, "Being in the top 100 reflects our hard work and dedication to developing and publishing outstanding content for mobile. Our significant headway out in the States and our growing portfolio of mobile game franchises are major contributors to our success. And most recently a move into mobile video demonstrates another way in which we're continuously looking at ways to leverage our internal technology and brand relationships to further build revenues."
