The Seventh Dragon
Discounted diamonds, siege warfare and "Battle against the Devil King" events lined up for Japanese RPG.
TOKYO, JAPAN – SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 – Vector, Inc., today announced three major events for their browser-based simulation RPG The Seventh Dragon. First of these three events, the “50% Diamond Bonus” campaign, will begin on September 10th at 0:00 [EDT]. The second event, which starts on October 1st, is the wildly popular “Siege Warfare” event – first held in June on The Seventh Dragon’s first server, Cyskar – which will be coming to their second server, Rarus. Lastly, on October 19th, Vector will conduct the biggest event in the history of the game, “Battle against the Devil King”, on the Cyskar server.
50% Diamond Bonus Campaign
The “50% Diamond Bonus” campaign is a two-week sale that will allow any players who buy diamonds to receive 50% more diamonds on top of their total purchase.
Siege Warfare
Siege Warfare is a high-level event where guilds challenge one another in a tournament-style battle for control of five major castles. Players will need to equip their armies with special siege weapons, enchant them with magic, and strategize together with their guilds to ensure their success. As each castle allows its controlling guild access to special magic that will give their armies unique advantages, control of these castles is a significant factor for any guild looking to dominate the rankings. All participants will be rewarded with increased fame (a measurement of a player’s ability to recruit high level units) and experience points.
Battle against the Devil King
In this pivotal event in the storyline of The Seventh Dragon, players will be given a chance to do battle with the Devil King, Cabelous, the leader of the Devil Army and primary antagonist of the game. After the battle with Cabelous, the best 30 participants will be given a chance to compete in a tournament wherein the top seven players will be bestowed with special honors. The first place winner will be given the highest honor in the game: the title of “The Seventh Dragon.”
Additional Events
In the lead-up to “Siege Warfare” and “Battle against the Devil King” to gear players up for the upcoming battles, Vector will conduct preparation events starting from September 15th on the Rarus server and October 5th on Cyskar server.
