The Pocket Gamer Awards

Two Pixalon games, Gish and UFO: Afterlight, in the running.

Prague CZ / Velp NL - PocketGamer announced the finalists for their 2010 edition of ‘The Pocket Gamer Awards’. From the catalogue of Pixalon Studios, two games have been selected as finalists in four categories.

Gish (in cooperation with Hardwire) took a leading role in the list of finalists. After winning the “Game Of The Year” award at the International Mobile Game Awards, a Gold award at PocketGamer, MobileGameFaqs and Games Review as well as an Ultimate Award at Project NeXt, the game is now shortlisted in three categories on the 2010 Pocket Gamer Awards for Mobile.

The game has been shortlisted as finalist for “Game of the Year”, “Most Innovative Game” and the “Readers Choice” category. The readers choice. Consumers can vote for the Readers Choice by visiting PocketGamer’s award site at www.pocketgamer.co.uk/awards.asp.

The second game shortlisted is UFO: Afterlight in the “Best Adventure/RPG Game finalists” category. UFO already won a Silver award at PocketGamer, a Gold award at Games Review and Pirates XXL and an Ice Cold Award at MobileGameFaqs.
