The OGaming Network Acquires Guildwizard.com, The Web's Leading Guild Management Site For MMO Gamers
Site To Offer Free Guild Management Services Until January 2006
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK - April 13, 2005 - OGaming.com, the leading source of news, information and community services for fans of massive multiplayer online games (MMOG), announced today that it has acquired Guildwizard.com, the premiere provider of guild management services to gamers. In celebration of the new acquisition, Guildwizard.com will waive the $54 annual fee for guild management services for the remainder of 2005. Any guild that has already purchased services during the announced promotional period will receive a dollar for dollar credit for like services in the future.
Currently hosting hundreds of guilds, Guildwizard.com provides its customers with a Web application that allows guilds of online gamers to create management tools that would normally require the skills of an experienced programmer. Guilds get their own fully customizable Web site that includes such features as a member roster, automatic raid attendance tracking, member profile pages, message boards and forums, player statistics and loot/item tracking.
"As avid online gamers, we understand how difficult and time-consuming it can be to create really useful ways to manage your guild online," said Jean-Marc Broyer, general manager, OGaming.com. "Guildwizard.com is a brilliant tool and our acquisition of the site is another example of the type of value the OGaming Network provides to the online gaming community. We will utilize our network's resources to explore new ways to expand guild services and will listen carefully to feedback from guild masters."
