The fascinating plot together with challenging Hidden Object tasks and puzzles guarantees hours of entertainment and significantly improved outsight. The mysterious legacy of Gregory's forefathers is gradually revealed with the help of astonishing inventions and careful investigations.
The adventures begin, when Gregory opens an envelope left by his great-grandfather and founds a key to the secret room where he has never been before. Together with his friend Rachel Gregory finds a lot of strange devices, an old book and a small robot, who is to guide him through the game. The great-grandfather's invention allows Gregory to travel through time and space, if he has map keys with corresponding runes. The two friends read the ancient legend of magic armor and start traveling around the world to pick the keys.
The Hidden Object gameplay is based on common principles, but enriched with some peculiarities that make it more intriguing. For example, the tips are not provided in the course of time, but should be charged with batteries (which are hidden in the scenes among other items). Then, some items can be found only after certain manipulations with the surroundings, such as zooming places, moving items, opening chests or entering a code. The magic 3D puzzles that alternate with Hidden Object levels are remarkable for wonderful animation and require some effort to solve.
By the way, the distinctive excellence of the Mysterious Past of Gregory Phoenix consists in the variety of Hidden Object tasks. The player never gets tired of the same clicking on the screen, as some scenes require using great-grandfather's devices, such as a noctovisor or a special monitor. To reveal the secret of the magic armor the players will have to employ brainpower and observation!
