The Games Tribe, the specialist video games media business, today announces that it has signed an agreement to take over ownership of Gameleon ( www.gameleon.net), a network for games media journalists.
Gameleon is used by more than 2,000 games journalists to find and post jobs and freelance work, use the extensive database of games media firms and keep track of what’s happening in the games mediaspace. Via the forumsand PMs, uUsers of the site are also able to discuss and share thoughts and interests about games and the games media.
The site also enables games industry PR and marketing departments to post press releases and information or seek feedback or support from journalists and the media listed in the directory.
The purchase will enable The Games Tribe to further deliver on its mission to be a hub for the best in independent games journalism and follows the launch of www.thegamestribe.com, a discovery site for consumers to find the best in independent games media.
