The Dutch at gamescom
Out in force in Hall 4.2.
From August 18-21, the Dutch game industry will have a major presence at the world’s largest gameshow Gamescom in Cologne, through a dedicated Dutch Games Pavilion. Made possible by the Dutch videogames branch organization DGA (Dutch Games Association) and supported financially by Taskforce Innovation Utrecht region, the pavilion will allow 25 Dutch game companies and institutions to showcase their products as well as conduct businessmeetings in a professional atmosphere.
The primary focus for the design of the pavilion centered around offering participants a representative stage to conduct their international business. Boasting a floor space of 180 m2, the booth will showcase the broad diversity of gameindustry companies active in the Netherlands. Parties who are interested in meeting the Dutch Game companies and institutions at the Dutch Games Pavilion can come and check out the pavilion in Hall 4.2, booth E 031 and F 030.
About the Dutch game industry
The Dutch games industry is developing rapidly into an important player in the international gaming field. Dutch games companies are active in all kinds of different disciplines, ranging from serious to advergaming to entertainment games, and the sector features independent publishers, distributors, developers as well as research organizations and educational institutions.
About DGA
The Dutch Games Association was founded in 2008 as the overarching Dutch videogames branch organization. The main objective of the DGA is to stimulate business, international trade and cooperation, exchange of knowledge and innovation in the game industry. DGA is also a partner in other Holland Pavilions on international trade shows like the Tokyo Game Show and the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
