The Beatles: Rock Band
Sir Paul McCartney discusses the game in an interview with Zane Lowe.
New York, Jan. 19, 2010 – Paul McCartney has led a legendary life. As both a member of the biggest band of all time, and as a solo artist, McCartney’s musical legacy, impact and influence can be felt across generations and has left an indelible imprint on the world of pop culture forever. On Jan. 19 at 10 p.m., VH1 Classic will present, “Zane Meets Paul McCartney,” an in-depth interview with Paul himself, hosted by BBC Radio personality and former MTV UK VJ Zane Lowe.
The hour-long interview covers all facets of McCartney's fascinating career, from his days with The Beatles to his most recent solo release, Good Evening New York City. This live album was recorded at New York's Citi Field, which sits on the site of the iconic Shea Stadium, where The Beatles played to what was, at the time, the largest crowd to attend a rock and roll concert. Additionally, McCartney touches subjects like The Beatles' catalog going digital, his favorite bass line and MTV Games and Harmonix's critically-acclaimed The Beatles: Rock Band video game.
In addition, the interview features a wide variety of classic and contemporary McCartney footage, ranging from live performances and music videos from the days of The Beatles, to clips from McCartney's Citi Field concert.
