Terraplay winner of Mobile Entertainment Award
Stockholm 2006-09-20. Swedish gaming community service provider Terraplay has been selected as winner of the industry award for "Best Games Service Provider" at the prestigious Mobile Entertainment Awards event in London.
The Mobile Entertainment Awards recognizes companies that are involved with the creation and delivery of entertainment content, including games publishers, developers, billing providers, mobile operators and more. The event is organised by Intent Media who is covering the mobile content industry in various publications, magazines, newsletters and reports. The jury that selected the nominees and picked the winners consisted of over 300 industry leaders from various parts of the mobile entertainment business.
Terraplay was selected as the winner in the category "Best Games Service Provider" for its Global Gaming Network service, enabling games publishers, network operators and service providers to run community and multiplayer services for their games portfolios on a global basis.

The winners were announced at a glitzy awards ceremony at the Kensington Royal Garden Hotel, London yesterday. Over 350 industry executives from the mobile content space attended the event.
