Tequila Works, ustwo and Panzer Dragoon's Yukio Futatsugi join Reboot Develop line-up

Croatian developer conference adds another round of speakers, including Hidetaka "Swery" Suehito and Seaman creator Yoot Saito

Tequila Works, ustwo and Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futatsugi have all joined the line-up for this year's Reboot Develop conference in Croatia.

Raul Rubio has just led Tequila Works to its best year so far, launching two creatively daring products in the space of 12 months: the beautiful, worldless adventure game Rime, and the innovative The Invisible Hours for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Tequila Works was also one of our ten choices for People of the Year 2017. You can see the full selection here, or read Tequila Works entry here.

Joining Rubio is ustwo's head of studio Dan Gray, who launched the critically acclaimed Monument Valley 2 in 2017. Another prominent independent creator added to the Reboot Develop line-up is Alexis Kennedy, who returned from a "gap year" writing for Dragon Age at Bioware to successfully crowdfund a new game, Cultist Simulator, in September.

The Japanese developer community will also be well represented, in the form of White Owls CEO Hidetaka "Swery" Suehito, Seaman creator Yoot Saito, and Gounding Co. COO Yukio Futatsagi, who is best known as the creator of Panzer Dragoon and Phantom Dust.

Other key additions are Skybound Interactive president Dan Murray and White Wolf Publishing CEO Tobias Sjögren, who join a speaker line-up that already includes Double Fine's Tim Schafer, Obsidian Entertainment Josh Sawyer and Snapshot Games CEO Julian Gollop.

Reboot Develop 2018 will take place from April 19 to 21 in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
