Telcogames picks up Nokia PRO award for SIL

Puzzler wins Best Mobile Game

Telcogames puzzler SIL has picked up the trophy for Best Mobile Game at the 2006 Forum Nokia PRO Awards.

SIL, a 3D silhouette matching puzzle game, is available for both Smartphones and PC downloads. The game was developed by Fathammer, a studio owned by Telcogames and based in Finland.

"I'm thrilled Sil has achieved this award, it's a true testament to the success of our development studio's and the talent of the individuals behind them," said Telcogames MD of central publishing, Enda Carey.

The Nokia PRO Awards are part of the annual Nokia World event. They are designed to recognise innovation, technical accomplishment and commercial success in the field of mobile applications, content and services.

Also at this year's awards, Idetic picked up the Best Music Application for MobiRadio, while Best Branded Content Application went to Cognima for ShoZu. Refresh Mobile won Developer of the Year for its Mobizines project and SNAPin Self Service received the trophy for Innovator of the year.
